About Waterford Township School District
Waterford Township School District is a prekindergarten – 6th grade district serving approximately 890 students in three schools. Upon graduating from 6th grade, students continue their public education in nearby Hammonton Public School District.

Waterford Township School District, through our progressive, student-centered curriculum and comprehensive system of supports, provides all students with a safe, equitable learning environment that cultivates academic, social, and emotional growth.
We encourage the development of personal strengths, a positive self-image, and an appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual. Through community partnerships and engagement, the district provides a strong foundation for students to reach their full potential as they continue their educational journey.
Lighthouse District
In July 2019, the Waterford Township School District was designated as a Lighthouse District by the New Jersey Department of Education. Waterford is one of 13 districts in New Jersey to be acknowledged for demonstrating growth academically over the last several years. Read more.
